While working for three and a half years as a Hospice and Hospital Chaplain, I experienced many deaths. Whether sitting in an emergency room in the middle of the night with a daughter as we watched her mom die, or with a father after receiving the news of yet another son dying from an accident, the event of death is very real and will happen to us all.
